In this context, the faculty of the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra continues to achieve an outstanding research presence during the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic years, having published 75 reputable research papers in international databases.
This achievement reflects the efforts of
Dr. Ammar Yasser Jassim (31 papers), Dr. Ali Taha Yassin (15 papers), Dr. Zuhair Ali Abdul Nabi (11 papers), Dr. Amir Abbas Muhammad (9 papers), and Dr. Ahmed Youssef Hamoud (9 papers) in supporting high-quality scientific publication and their commitment to strengthening the University of Basra’s scientific and global standing, within a research environment that motivates researchers and faculty members to continue innovating and producing, in line with the University of Basra’s aspirations for excellence and sustainability.
