Under the leadership of the university presidency, the board of trustees, the colleges, centers, and academic departments, the University of Basra continues its upward trajectory in scientific research and publication in the prestigious global databases Scopus and Clarivate, supported by the outstanding scientific output of its researchers and faculty, and the university’s ongoing plans to enhance the quality of scientific research and strengthen its global presence and impact. It is also important to note that the university has achieved an increase in high-quality research output, with a growth rate of approximately 275+ high-quality research papers published in these databases.
