Faculty Participation from the Center for Marine Sciences: A Member of the Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee as Part of Joint Scientific Collaboration Among Units at the University of Basra.
Dr. Sita Aram Kyurk, a faculty member at the Center for Marine Sciences/University of Basra, participated as a member of the committee reviewing the doctoral dissertation of a graduate student in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences (Marwa Faleh Farhoud)
Titled “The Effectiveness of a Story-Based Educational Program in Acquiring Concepts of Environmental Education and Sustainable Development and Developing Wisdom-Based Thinking Skills”
The thesis aimed to examine the effectiveness of a story-based educational program in helping first-year students in the morning program at the College of Education acquire concepts of environmental education and sustainable development and develop wisdom-based thinking skills.
The Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Basra presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Sita Aram Kyurk for her efforts in reviewing and evaluating the thesis and enriching the discussion with valuable scientific information.
