A Faculty Member at the University of Basra Publishes a Research Paper in a Journal Indexed in Scopus
Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Hashim, a faculty member at the Center for Marine Sciences at the University of Basra, along with other researchers, published a scientific paper titled

The study was conducted on a private farm in the Qurna district, north of Basra Governorate, Iraq. The study aimed to examine the effect of using seaweed extract (Agrosine) and silicon on the vegetative and flowering growth and yield of fava bean plants, as well as the enzymatic activity of catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD), and the concentrations of auxin, gibberellin (GA), and abscisic acid (ABA)
