The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a field trip to the fish farming station at the Marine Science Center, with the participation of graduate students.

The purpose of the visit was to observe the fish farming ponds, their types, and the methods of fish rearing.

The visit included a tour of the fish farming center, an overview of the fish breeding stages from the hatchery to the ponds, how to obtain fingerlings, and monitoring the growth stages of the fish.
