A faculty member at the Marine Sciences Center receives an honor from the President of the University of Basra.

Prof. Dr. Abbas Adel Hantoush, from the International Rankings Division at the University of Basra, received a certificate of appreciation on the occasion of the University of Basra ranking second among Iraqi universities in the WURI Global University Innovation Ranking.

This honor was bestowed in recognition of his active contributions to achieving this accomplishment and to motivate university staff to elevate the university’s standing in international rankings.

The ceremony included the presentation of a plaque of excellence to all members of the International University Rankings Division in recognition of their efforts to enhance the university’s scientific presence in recent global rankings, where the university achieved high rankings.
