As part of the University of Basra’s Marine Sciences Center’s initiative to develop the leadership and technical skills of its senior staff, Dr. Muhammad Thiab Khalif, Director of the Marine Information and Documentation Division at the University of Basra’s Marine Sciences Center, participated in the training program titled
“Cloud Computing Services and Their Applications in Iraqi Institutions,” organized by the Directorate of Administrative Development and Information Technology in Basra
The program aims to strengthen the government’s digital infrastructure (digital transformation), improve performance efficiency while reducing costs, ensure business continuity, develop human resources and national staff, enhance local competencies, and enable remote work: empowering employees to securely access systems from anywhere, in line with the global digital transformation.
The program addressed mechanisms for building a robust digital infrastructure that supports institutional reform, as well as ways to leverage cloud technologies to improve administrative and technical performance within government institutions, in line with the digital transformation trends in Iraq.
