The Marine Sciences Center is celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the University of Basra through a variety of scientific and cultural events.

The aim of the celebration is to renew the institution’s commitment to excellence and innovation, and to unite the academic community to foster a sense of collective spirit and belonging.

The celebration included an exhibition of achievements and a showcase of academic publications, patents, training courses, scientific workshops, seminars, and conferences held at the Center in previous years.

In addition, cultural events organized by the Center’s Culture and Community Committee featured a variety of scientific and artistic activities.
