Dr. Mohammed Thiab Khalif, a faculty member at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, participated in the patent exhibition held at the International Iraqi Creativity and Innovation Forum in collaboration with the Research and Development Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The participation included a presentation of his invention titled “Design of a Low-Cost Field Visible Spectrophotometer for Nutrient Assessment.”

This innovation aims to provide economical and highly accurate technical solutions for field testing, thereby contributing to the development of field laboratory work and reducing reliance on complex and expensive equipment—a significant leap in adapting technology to serve scientific research with minimal resources.
