Dr. Muhammad Dhiab Khalif, a faculty member at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, participated in the 7th International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation, held in Baghdad.
His participation included presenting a paper titled
​“Synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds (four, five, and seven) using chalcones and Schiff bases”
which focused on the preparation of new heterocyclic compounds (four-, five-, and seven-membered) using Schiff bases and chalcones—compounds of great importance in the pharmaceutical industry and biochemistry applications.
