Lecturer Ahmed Jasb Al-Shammari from the Marine Sciences Center participated in a panel discussion held at the College of Marine Sciences.

His participation included delivering a lecture titled “The Impact of Climate Change on Abiotic Diversity in Iraqi Marine Waters.”

The lecture aimed to study and analyze how climate change variables (such as rising temperatures and sea level rise) affect the physical and abiotic characteristics of the marine environment in Iraq, and their impact on habitats and ecosystems.
