The Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra held the sixth meeting of its regular council for the 2025–2026 academic year, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Amir Rahim Jassim and attended by the heads of the scientific and administrative departments and members of the Center’s council. The council recommended a series of decisions.

The Council discussed numerous matters related to the Center’s scientific and administrative aspects that were on its agenda, and emphasized the implementation of ministerial directives and instructions from the University Presidency.

The Council also discussed several topics aimed at continuing to advance the Center’s scientific and practical endeavors.
