The Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra held a Quranic forum titled “Ali and the Quran: A Biography of Light and a Path of Guidance,” attended by a gathering of academics.

The forum aimed to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), who embodied the values of the Quran, to encourage emulation of his virtues, and to remind Muslims of his status.

The forum featured a select group of the Center’s reciters who recited verses from the Wise Remembrance in an atmosphere of reverence and sorrow, commemorating the Imam’s status and his noble values. The event was interspersed with religious speeches and passages that highlighted aspects of the Imam’s biography and his achievements in a spiritual atmosphere combining consolation and recitation to spread Islamic values and educate generations on the love of the Book of Allah and the Ahl al-Bayt.
