Stability of the Iraqi Coast: A Geotechnical Assessment

The thesis aimed to conduct a physical and geotechnical assessment of the region’s sediments, calculate certain properties such as soil resistance and shear stress, monitor changes in the coastline using bathymetric maps, perform a hydrological assessment of water currents, and design a mathematical model to predict risks in the region .

The study highlighted the importance of the Iraqi coastal region and the factors influencing changes in the coastline
