The Director General of the Marine Science Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jassim, paid an inspection visit to the Center’s Shatt al-Arab Marine Vessel Station. The purpose of the visit was to closely review operations, monitor matters related to the station, and work to resolve any obstacles that might hinder its operations.

During the visit, the Director General reviewed the station’s operations, basic needs, and equipment. He emphasized the importance of the station playing an effective role in supporting scientific research, particularly by facilitating researchers’ river trips to Shatt al-Arab and the marshes, as well as maritime trips to the northern Arabian Gulf and Iraqi territorial waters, in a manner that serves the Center’s research plan.
