Professor Ahmad Jasib Al-Shammari participated in the thesis defense committee for Master’s student Zainab Atef Abdul-Aleem from the Department of Geography, College of Arts, regarding her thesis titled *Assessment of Fish Communities in the Northern Reach of the Shatt al-Arab Using Ecological Indicators*

The Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Basra presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ahmed Jasb for his efforts in reviewing and evaluating the thesis and enriching the discussion with valuable scientific information.
