With the aim of promoting a culture of leadership and innovation, the Marine Science Center participates in Global Entrepreneurship Week events

The Director General of the Marine Science Center, Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jassim, participates in the Iraqi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week events held at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, under the slogan “Ideas spring from the land of Mesopotamia.”

The Director General explained that attending these events would help connect academia with practice, transform theoretical projects into mature institutions, develop researchers' skills such as innovation and leadership, create job opportunities in communities, and strengthen partnerships with the private sector and society to serve the vision of sustainable community development.
