Scientific contribution to a peer-reviewed international book on emerging antimicrobials

Researchers Ammar Yasser Jassim and Amir Abbas Mohammed co-authored a scientific chapter entitled:

“Addressing the Global Challenge of Bacterial Drug Resistance: Insights, Strategies, and Future Directions”

in the book Emerging Antimicrobials: Sources, Mechanisms of Action, Spectrum of Activity, Combination Antimicrobial Therapy, and Resistance Mechanisms.

The book was published by Frontiers, part of the Frontiers in Microbiology series, one of the most reputable scientific journals classified as Q1, with an impact factor of approximately 5.2 and a CiteScore of approximately 6.5.

The scientific chapter addresses the global challenges of bacterial resistance to drugs, reviewing the latest insights, treatment strategies, and future trends to reduce the spread of antimicrobial resistance, thereby contributing to supporting international research efforts.

This participation confirms the active presence of our researchers in international scientific forums and reflects the level of research contribution in addressing global priority health issues, particularly in the field of antimicrobials.
