The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra held the fourth session of its regular council meeting for the academic year 2025-2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Shaker Ghalib Ajeel and attended by the heads of scientific and administrative departments and members of the center's council, which recommended a series of decisions.

The council discussed several matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects of the center that were on its agenda, and emphasized the implementation of ministerial directives and instructions from the university presidency.

The council also discussed several topics related to the continued advancement of the center's scientific and practical work.
