The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized an informative and intellectual seminar entitled “The Love of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her): Cognitive and Educational Implications” in collaboration with the Fatimid Studies Center, Basra Branch, on the occasion of the birth of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The seminar aimed to commemorate the great personality of the Lady of the Worlds, her character, knowledge, and religion, as today's society is in great need of inspiration from her prophetic behavior and teaching our future generations to follow this good example.

The symposium included several topics presented by Sheikh Raad Al-Asadi and Dr. Thaer Al-Aqili.

These topics summarized that the love of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) is not only an emotional feeling, but also a comprehensive cognitive and educational project. It is based on knowledge of her status, translates into practical behavior and emulation, and leads to self-improvement and social unity, making her a beacon of guidance in the lives of individuals and society.
