Zainab Fadel Al-Tamimi, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, participated in a seminar on the art of negotiation held at the General Company for Electricity Distribution in Southern Iraq, North Basra Branch.

The participation included a lecture entitled “You are a negotiator... therefore you are a leader.”

The lecture aimed to combine leadership skills with the art of negotiation to teach leaders how to use negotiation as a vital tool to achieve their vision, build trust, persuade parties, resolve conflicts, and guide teams toward win-win outcomes, emphasizing that effective leadership is not complete without negotiation skills and dealing with others with emotional intelligence.

The seminar concluded with the lecturer, Zainab Al-Tamimi, being awarded a certificate of appreciation by Mr. Mazen Mazloum Mohammed Al-Tarfi, Director of the North Basra Electricity Branch, as an expression of thanks and gratitude for her valuable contribution to enriching knowledge and providing the audience with useful information.
