The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a training course entitled “Green Policies and Smart Water Management.”

The course aimed to ensure a sustainable future for water.

The course, lectured by Dr. Hassan Khalil Hassan, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center, included an explanation that green policies set the vision, regulatory frameworks, and incentives, while

smart water management provides the technological tools to achieve this vision efficiently and intelligently.

Integrating green policies with smart technologies is no longer a luxury, but an imperative to ensure our water and food security and build resilient communities capable of facing the challenges of the future.
