The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra continues its campaign of planting trees and cultivating gardens and green spaces around the center as part of ongoing efforts to promote green spaces and preserve the environment.

The campaign, which was supervised by the Director General, Prof. Shaker Ghalib Ajeel, saw the planting of many fruit and ornamental trees in the center's gardens and surroundings, contributing to the improvement of the university environment.

This campaign is part of a plan by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Basra to promote environmental awareness, expand green spaces, and spread a culture of tree planting and environmental awareness in universities and educational institutions.
