The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a training course entitled “How to Write and Publish Scientific Research,” attended by a number of academics, researchers, and graduate students.

The course aimed to improve critical thinking skills, increase opportunities for publishing research in high-impact scientific journals, and contribute effectively to the advancement of scientific research.

The course, which was lectured by Dr. Wissam Razzaq, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Razzaq Jassim, and Dr. Muhammad Mahdi Muhammad Yahya from the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, included

how to enable participants to conduct high-quality research by following the correct methodology, learning how to identify the research problem, writing the different parts in a scientific style in line with modernity and development, selecting and accurately documenting sources and references, and formulating the results in an analytical and logical manner.
