The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a training course on modifications to the incubator section. Technology.

The course aimed to organize and develop the scientific and research work environment and enhance the university's role in supporting entrepreneurial and technological projects, thereby achieving the university's goals of serving the community and developing the knowledge economy.

The course, which was lectured by Dr. Hind Mahdi Jarallah, head of the technology incubator at the center, included, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the conversion of the technology incubator division into the Science and Technology Parks Department, which is administratively and technically linked to the assistant to the university president for scientific affairs.

It consists of the Technology Incubator Division, the Entrepreneurship Division, the Scientific Products Marketing Division, and the Training and Employment Division.

She pointed out that the Scientific Products Marketing Division has been completely transferred from the Scientific Affairs Department to the Science and Technology Parks Department.

The session reviewed the annual plan for the Marine Science Center's Technology Incubator for the 2025-2026 academic year, including seminars and scientific field visits.
