In a scientific achievement that adds to the progress of researchers at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Ahmed Jasb Al-Shimmari, a researcher at the Marine Science Center, received a certificate of excellence in research evaluation from the Journal of Applied Life Sciences International, which publishes global research in the fields of applied life sciences

in recognition of his valuable scientific contributions to research arbitration and raising the scientific quality of publications.

This achievement was also recorded on the Web of Science (Publons/Clarivate) platform, which recognizes the scientific efforts of arbitrators and documents them as global academic assets that contribute to supporting researchers in publishing and academic promotion.
