Professor Ahmed Jasb Al-Shimmari, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, participated in the 10th National Conference on Environment and Natural Resources held at the Faculty of Science, University of Basra. The participation included a presentation of a research paper entitled “Colure vibration of Micro plastic Ingested by fishes from Shatt Al-Arab River Basra, Iraq.”

The aim of the research was to identify the colors of plastic ingested with food, which is sometimes used by fishermen as bait.
