Dr Ahmed Youssef Hamoud, a faculty member at the Marine Science Centre, participated in the thesis discussion committee for Asawer Salem Ta'ma, a graduate student and Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Pure Sciences, Department of Chemistry. The thesis was entitled:

Analytical Studies of Some Prepared Ligands and Some of Their Applications.

The Dean of the Faculty of Pure Sciences presented Dr. Hamoud with a letter of thanks and appreciation for his efforts in reading and evaluating the thesis, and for contributing valuable scientific information to the discussion.
