The Marine Science Centre at the University of Basra has launched a comprehensive awareness campaign aimed at preventing suicide and challenging its presence in society. This initiative is part of the Centre's commitment to social responsibility and promoting health, psychological and social awareness within the university community.

The campaign seeks to foster a culture of dialogue and psychological and social support, encourage students to seek help when needed, and mitigate the prevalence of suicide, which runs counter to the values and traditions of society.
