Professor Dr Tariq Hatab Yassin, a member of the teaching staff at the Marine Science Centre, chaired the committee to discuss the thesis of graduate student and doctoral candidate Noor Al-Huda Walid Abdul-Razzaq Jubail at the Faculty of Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences. The title of her thesis was:

Morphological and Molecular Classification of Large Parasitic Worms with a Study of Some of Their Vital Indicators in Basra Governorate.

The Dean of the Faculty of Pure Sciences presented Dr. Tariq Hatab with a letter of thanks and appreciation for his efforts in reading and evaluating the thesis, and for enriching the discussion with valuable scientific information.
