The Marine Science Center participated in a specialized eco-tourism workshop organized by the Basra Tourism Department at the Grand Millennium Hotel.

Several academics, experts, and ecotourism enthusiasts participated in the workshop, including Marine Science Center representatives Dr. Abdul Amir Rahim Jasim, Dr. Ahmed Youssef Lfta, and lecturer Sajad Kazim Jasb, as well as other interested individuals.

The workshop emphasized the need for collaboration among stakeholders to support and develop ecotourism in Basra.
