The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra held the tenth session of its regular council for the 2024-2025 academic year, chaired by Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, and attended by the council's secretary and members.

During the council meeting, the issues on its agenda were discussed. The implementation of ministerial directives and the instructions of the Opinion Council were emphasized.

Proposals to support the educational process and develop the research, administrative, and financial frameworks within the center's structures were also voted on.
