The Basra University Sciences Center organized a lecture entitled Electrical Deportation of Proteins

For sustainable development in the field of biological research, medical diagnosis and food improvement, Basra University organizes a lecture on electrical deportation of proteins.
Basra University Sciences Center organized a lecture entitled Electrical Deportation of Proteins.
The lecture by Dr. Fadel Nima Abdel-Reda included a comprehensive understanding of the technique of deporting electric proteins on a uric gel with (SDS-PAGE), which is a basic tool in biology, molecular and biochemistry to separate proteins based on their molecular size.
The lecture focused on explaining how SDS-PAGE works as an effective way to separate proteins, and this technique depends on the use of (SDS), a powerful analon compound that dismantles proteins and adding a uniform negative charge.
It is commensurate with its size.
The lecture aimed at estimating the molecular weight of proteins, assessing the purity of protein samples, analyzing the sub-combination of multi-unit proteins, and monitoring protein purification steps and preparing samples for other analytical techniques such as (Western Blotting). Learn about the advantages and restrictions of SDS-PAGE.
