
A specialized scientific team that includes a number of professors specialized in the field of environmental pollution from the Center for Marine Sciences at Basra University with a field visit to the pollution site in the Euphrates River
The field tour included the interview of Mr. Rafid Abdul Amir Al -Halfi, Qaqam Al -Sadiq district, to discuss the problem of pollution in the waters of the Euphrates River and visit the water pumping stations and some polluted areas, and samples were taken to examine them as a laboratory to determine the causes of pollution and what are the living organisms that have flourished significantly in those areas and the results will be presented to the concerned authorities to contribute to finding immediate and future solutions.
The goal of examining polluted water is to assess the quality of water and determine the level of pollutants in it, with the aim of protecting public health and the environment. This is done by determining the type and concentration of pollutants, and how to treat water to become safe for human, agricultural and industrial use.
