Basra University organizes a seminar on ways to reduce air pollution

The Sea Science Center organizes a seminar entitled

The materials used in car exhaust and their role in improving the environment.

The episode presented by the researcher Dr. Muhannad Kazem Taher from the Center for Marine Sciences at Basra University included increasing emissions from vehicles with an increase in the population, and the world became more interested in environmental pollution caused by polluted car exhausts.

The researcher in general touched on the materials used in the carfil transformers in car exhausts, such as platinum, palsmium and rhinium, which is an essential part of the process that helps reduce the pollutants emitted from engines, improve air quality, and protect the environment and public health.

Adding that the catalyst is a device for controlling exhaust emissions, which transforms toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust gases issued by the internal combustion engine into less toxic pollutants by stimulating the reaction of oxidation and reduction.

The episode aimed to know the impact of exhaust emissions on the environment and to clarify the types of materials used in the manufacture of the motivator

The best ways to use environmentally friendly fuel.
