At exactly ten o'clock in the morning, 5/25/205, the first meeting of the Industrial Consultative Office of the Center for Marine Sciences at Basra University in the presence of the members of the office.
The meeting started with the presentation of the Director General of the Center for Marine Sciences, Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil, in which he reviewed the capabilities available in the center from an investment point of view, in addition to an introductory summary and scientific and human capabilities owned by the center, which represents the basic pillar of any potential cooperation with the industrial sector.
The meeting also touched on the goals of establishing the Industrial Consulting Office in accordance with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and how to employ this vision in line with the aspirations of public investment companies in various sectors, within the framework of seeking to enhance the frameworks of fruitful cooperation between academic institutions and industrial sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the attendees discussed the mechanisms of implementing the partnership between the public and private sectors and the administrative and legal challenges facing the university as a result of the in force ministerial laws and laws, stressing the importance of setting flexible work mechanisms that contribute to overcoming obstacles and activating the center's role in the service of sustainable development.
