The Center for Marine Sciences at Basra University held the eighth session of its periodic council for the academic year 2024 - 2025, headed by Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil, and Mr. Associate Director General, Dr. Ahmed Youssef Hammoud, in the presence of the heads of scientific and administrative departments and members of the Center Council, and recommended making a number of decisions.

The Council discussed many matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects in the center and listed on its agenda, as well as the implementation of ministerial directives and the instructions of the university presidency.

The Council also discussed several topics in continuation of the advancement of the scientific and practical march of the center
