Under the patronage of the Director General of the Marine Science Center, Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, the Center's Culture and Community Committee organized a memorial service commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in the Center's Al-Mahri Hall.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of faculty members and staff, who came to honor the memory of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) and draw inspiration from his noble principles.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs.

The ceremony included the recitation of poems in praise of the Imam (peace be upon him) and a valuable religious lecture delivered by Dr. Hussein Jabbar Nayef Al-Karbalai, which discussed the life of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), his heroic stances, and his pioneering role in spreading Islam and great human values.

The memorial service was well-received by the attendees, who praised the efforts of the Center's Culture and Community Committee and its dedication to commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) and promoting the noble values ​​and principles he embodied in his life.
