Under the direct supervision of the Center's Director General, Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, and in cooperation with the Afforestation Unit headed by Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Hashem, and with the support of Dr. Nevin Anwar Abdullah from the College of Agriculture/Department of Horticulture, the Marine Science Center organized a tree-planting campaign at the Center. This campaign coincides with the national initiative to plant five million trees and palm trees launched by the state.
This campaign comes within the framework of efforts to enhance green spaces and preserve the environment, and to encourage the university community to care for plants and wildlife.
The goal of the campaign is to raise environmental awareness among all, combat climate change, and instill a spirit of cooperation and participation among all university institutions.
