The Marine Sciences Center, under the direct supervision of the Center’s Director General, Dr. Shaker Ghalib Ajil, in collaboration with the Afforestation Unit and its head, Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Hashim, and with the support of Dr. Nevin Anwar Abdullah from the College of Agriculture/ Department of Horticulture, organized a tree-planting campaign at the Marine Sciences Center, coinciding with the national initiative to plant five million trees and palm trees launched by the government.

This campaign is part of ongoing efforts to promote green spaces and preserve the environment, as well as to encourage the university community to take an interest in plants and wildlife.

The campaign aims to raise environmental awareness among everyone, combat climate change, and foster a spirit of cooperation and participation among all members of the university community.
