An introductory booklet was issued by the United Nations Sustainable Development Program for Iraqi Marine Life, prepared by Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Ridha Al-Dughji, in which he explained a plan to revive and renew marine life, which consists of nine main components for the sustainable development of the Iraqi marine environment, and that rebuilding marine life is a major challenge and an economic goal to achieve a sustainable future.
