The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a symposium on the University Technology Incubator Unit and Entrepreneurship. The symposium, which was lectured by Prof. Hind Mahdi Jarallah, aimed to highlight the importance of the role of incubators in developing scientific research and serving the community. The symposium included discussing the mechanism of work of technological incubators, starting with emphasizing entrepreneurship, creating leaders, providing financial support for projects, how to access funding sources, providing legal support, and opening communication networks between researchers in order to exchange ideas and advice, and ending with marketing the incubator's products to government institutions, companies, and private projects to contribute to feeding the Iraqi economy sector with new resources and raising the gross domestic product.
