The Marine Science Center participated in the central graduation ceremony for the students of the University of Basra, the 57th session, the "Science and Construction" batch for the academic year 2023-2024, on Thursday afternoon, 11/28/2024, at the Mina Olympic Stadium.

The ceremony was headed by the Director General of the Marine Science Center, Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil. The ceremony was also attended by the heads of scientific departments and a number of instructors and members of the center with their honorable families, in addition to the presence of many media institutions that contributed greatly to covering the celebration.

The ceremony witnessed a very high organization that won the admiration of the attendees, starting with the parade of the graduating students in front of the platform, then the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by congratulatory words to the graduating students by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, in addition to honoring the top students in the colleges of the University of Basra.

The President of the University of Basra also honored the top students in the colleges and for the morning and evening studies.
