Professor Majid Abdul Aziz Banai, a lecturer at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah, was selected as a scientific reviewer for the journal (Parasitology Research)

The journal, classified within the Scopus (Q1) and Clarivate containers with an impact factor of (1.8) and issued by Springer Nature, publishes research and studies in parasitology across a variety of disciplines, including biology, medicine and veterinary medicine. Among the many topics discussed are chemotherapy, control of parasitic diseases and the relationship between the host and the parasite.
