The Continuing Education Unit at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a lecture entitled "Control and Management of Ambition Hormones and Oxytocin Satisfaction Hormones in the Human Body" with the attendance of a number of college members and instructors. The lecture, presented by Dr. Muhannad Kazim Dhaher from the Department of Sediments and Marine Bottoms, included a complete review of hormones in the human body and their great importance in the life of the living organism. Especially hormones that are classified as neurotransmitters. As they play a direct role in determining the choices and paths of the human being, either by pushing him to do something or by urging him not to do something. And the decisive factor in these conflicting choices is the mind. The lecture aimed to identify the nature of the work of neurotransmitter hormones and their effects and their relationship with negative behaviors such as addiction or positive behaviors such as ambition, hard work and exploration.
