Dr. Wissam Razzaq Mutasher, a lecturer at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, was selected as a scientific reviewer for the Environmental Earth Sciences Journal.

The journal, which is classified within Scopus (Q1) and Clarivate containers with an impact factor of (2.8), and which is published by Springer Nature, is concerned with publishing research and studies that focus on the interaction between humans, natural resources, ecosystems, climate, and unique geographical areas.
