The Media and Government Communication Unit at the Marine Science Center, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, and the supervision of the Director General of the Marine Science Center, Prof. Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil, organized an awareness campaign to reduce immigration, which was called for by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Media and Government Communication.

The campaign aims to implement a comprehensive national media plan specifically to reduce illegal immigration and design and publish light panels that include awareness against illegal immigration and its dangers.

The campaign included placing posters in various departments of the center and distributing publications to members to confront this phenomenon.
