Teaching selection at the University of Basra as editor of a scientific journal.
A lecturer at the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Murtada Dabij Nasser, was chosen as scientific editor for Nature Conservation magazine, the magazine with an impact factor of 1.6, and Scopus Q2.
Dr. Murtada Dabij Nasser said that this magazine is concerned with publishing research in all specialties interested in basic and applied conservation environment and nature conservation in general at various spatial, temporal and evolutionary levels, from population to ecosystems and from microorganisms and fungi to higher plants and animals.
He added that the magazine focuses on the environmental, evolutionary, economic, social and other consequences of biological diversity, managing ecosystems and mitigating negative impacts on them.
He stated that the scientific journal is issued by the international publishing house Pensoft in Bulgaria
