The President of the University of Basra received the respected Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem and the Director General of the Marine Sciences Center, Prof. Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, the authorized director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Basra East Delta Company, the respected Engineer Majid Hamid Shindi, to discuss the terms of the agreement signed between the marine and environmental consulting office at the university and the company’s management. .

 The agreement aims to strengthen the partnership between the public sector and the private sector to serve society 

 The partnership agreement included cooperation in implementing engineering, industrial, design and environmental works and projects with the help of university expertise in accordance with the Federal Budget Law for the year 2023, which calls for urging the ministries and their affiliated formations to open the door to private investment and to participate with the private sector within the limits of their competencies for the purpose of maximizing their resources and thus relieving the burden on the state.
