Media of the Marine Sciences Center
The Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Maysan Agriculture Directorate, specifically the Marshlands Revitalization Development Department, regarding the Mangrove Alliance, through which the Agriculture Directorate aims to implement the experiment of planting mangroves (mangroves) in Maysan Governorate within the scope of the marshes and study its suitability to environmental conditions.
The meeting also included a presentation on the project carried out by the Center to plant mangroves in Basra Governorate
In addition, the Director General of the Marine Sciences Center, Professor Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel, confirmed that the Center, with its scientific cadres, is ready to provide scientific consultations in the specialty with the aim of developing the environmental level in all its aspects.
