The University of Basra held an extensive consultative meeting on the presidential yacht Naseem Basra, headed by Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi and in the presence of members of the University Council and a number of directors of official service departments and security leaders in the governorate to open horizons of scientific and practical cooperation.
The meeting included addressing many matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects that are on its agenda, while activating the mechanism of cooperation with relevant departments and institutions and overcoming difficulties. The scientific results of some colleges and scientific centers were presented. The Council also discussed the extent of fruitful cooperation with the security departments in the governorate for the continued development and advancement of the university’s scientific career.
  The scientific trip included a research aspect through collecting samples for the scientific plan from various stations in the Shatt al-Arab.
